Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Meghalaya invites application from the permanent residents of Meghalaya for undergoing 15 months Veterinary Assistant Training Course for the Academic year 2019-20. The last date for submission of application is 30-10-2019.
Minimum Qualification
The applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) (Science Stream) or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University having a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. However, candidates with higher qualifications related to any field of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary shall be given weightage as per the requirement of the Department.
Age Limit:- Age 17 to 27 years as of 1st July 2019. Upper Age Limit 32 years for STs.
How to apply for Veterinary Assistant Training Course under Meghalaya A.H & Veterinary Dept.
The application should be typed or neatly handwritten in plain paper A4 size indicat¬ing the following (IN BLOCK LETTERS):
- A) Name:
B) Date of Birth : - Category — ST (Khasi, Jaintia & Garo/ Other STs/General.
- Marks Obtained in PCB percentage. (Self-Attested Copy of Mark sheet to be enclosed).
- Marks Obtained in Degree Course in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary related Subject etc if any. (Self-Attested copy of Marksheet to be enclosed).
- Complete Postal Address with PINCODE.
- Mobile Nos — Self and Parents/Guardians.
- One no. of Passport size photo (Self Attested).
- Self-Attested Copy of Permanent Residential Certificate (only for General Category).
The application should be submitted to the Office of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Meghalaya, Shillong or to any of the District or Sub-Divisional A.H & Veterinary Offices at Shillong / Nongstoin/ Nongpoh/ Jowai/ Khliehriat/ Mawkyrwat/ Williamnagar/ Tura/ Baghmara/ Resubelpara/ Ampati on or before 30th October 2019.
Method of Selection
There is no written test. Selection shall be based on merit and as per the State Reservation Policy.
Screening
Shortlisted candidates shall be invited for Screening of original documents only at Shillong in the Office of the Director A.H & Veterinary, at Lumdiengjri (Garikhana).
