Meghalaya WISH Foundation Recruitment 2023: WISH (Wadhwani Initiative for Sustainable Healthcare) is the flagship program of the Lords Education and Health Society (LEHS) and invites applications for the post of Program Lead, Officer – Learning and Impact and Manager- Community Processes & Capacity Building. 1. Post Name:- Program Lead

  • No of posts:- 1
  • Location:- Shillong, Meghalaya
  • Salary:- As per norms.
  • Essential Qualification:- MPH/MSW/MBA/Masters in Social Sciences Social Sciences
  • Language Proficiency:- English and Local dialects (eg. Khashi, Garo desirable)
  • Experience/Necessary Skills: The incumbent should have:
    # Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in designing, developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies/policies/plans of action in the field of Health Systems Strengthening and community processes especially primary health care.
    # Have minimum 5 years experience of in providing technical and programmatic support to the national government/ state governments in large public health programs
    # Strong stakeholder management skills including establishing and managing relationships with the National Health Mission (NHM) officials, representatives of various government departments, government bodies, local elected representatives, and community representatives
    # Ability to influence practices through evidence-sharing, negotiation, and consensus building
    # Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse program team
    # Excellent oral and written communication skills
    # Computer proficiency with a high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    # Willingness to travel to provide technical assistance; ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet timelines.

2. Post Name:- Officer – Learning and Impact

  • No of posts:- 1
  • Location:- Shillong, Meghalaya
  • Salary:- As per norms.
  • Essential Qualification:- Master in Statistics/Population Studies/Social Sciences with 5 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Language Proficiency:- English and Local dialects (eg. Khashi, Garo desirable)
  • Experience/Necessary Skills:- The incumbent should have:
    # Technical competence in developing and executing Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) plan of health programs;
    # Demonstrated ability to provide technical assistance on M&E of the program;
    # Possess excellent skills in MS Office including advanced competency in MS Excel # Demonstrated experience in technical aspects of data analysis, data analytics data quality, data-driven decision making, designing and creation of Dashboards
    # Be able to design and execute the project monitoring plan and monitor Key Performance Indicators and guide the state, district, and block NHM staff in its implementation
    # Skills in program data analysis generated through various MIS software and be able to perform data analytics and data visualization
    # Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, design and execute research studies, baseline, and end-line evaluations as well data collection in the field and guide ably the data collection teams
    # Skills in facilitating trainings on M&E of the state and district level staff;
    # Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including presentation and writing skills;
    # Demonstrated cross-cultural, teamwork skills and ability to foresee issues and initiate appropriate action;
    # Must be flexible and able to work in a challenging environment

3. Post Name:- Manager- Community Processes & Capacity Building

  • No of posts:- 1
  • Location:- Shillong, Meghalaya
  • Salary:- As per norms.
  • Essential Qualification:- MPH/MSW/Masters in Social Sciences
  • Language Proficiency:- English and Local dialects (eg. Khashi, Garo desirable)
  • Experience/Necessary Skills:- The incumbent should have:
    # 8-10 years of experience with the implementation of health programs at the primary level with international and/or national NGOs
    # Familiarity/experience in working with health systems in the public sector
    # Experience working with large-scale community health worker programs, particularly related to training, policy evolution, and supervision
    # Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities
    # Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of local dialects (Khashi, Garo) is desirable.
    # Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
    # Ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet timelines.
    # Computer proficiency with a high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
