Admission into Diploma Course:- The Director of Higher & Technical Education, Meghalaya invites applications from the candidates who are permanent residents of Meghalaya for study in Diploma Courses in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy in Institutes outside the State Meghalaya for the academic session 2020-2021 against the following seats allotted by Govt. of India.
Nominations of selected candidates in order of merit are subject to the availability of seats from the Govt. of India. Reservation Policy of the State Govt. will be applicable. The last date for submission of application is 30.07.2020.

Essential Qualification for Admission
- Candidates must have passed (in one sitting) SSLC/HSLC Examination or Equivalent Examination with Mathematics and Science as subjects of Examination from any recognized Board of School Education in India. Candidates passed in the Supplementary Examination and also those candidates with Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) Certificates are not eligible for admission.
- Class XII Examination or Equivalent Examination passed candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology may apply for the Pharmacy course.
- Candidates securing less than 40% marks (for SC, ST, OT Category) and 50% marks (for General Category) in any of the subjects in SSLC/HSLC Examination or Equivalent Examination need not apply.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply Online/ Offline from 24.07.2020 (1:00 PM) to 30.07.2020 (up to 05:00).

- Completed form accompanied by self-attested copies of all documents should reach the Office of the Director of Higher & Technical Education, Meghalaya, Shillong on or before 30.07.2020 (Room No. 129, Additional Secretariat Building).
- Applicants from Garo Hills may submit their application to the Office of the Additional Director of School Education & Literacy, Tura on or before 30.07.2020.
No application will be entertained without self-attested copies of Mark Sheets/Certificates etc. Non-Tribal students should furnish P.R.C. issued by the competent authority without which their application will not be entertained.
There will be no interview.
