AICTE Pragati and Saksham Scholarship 2022: Applications are invited from students pursuing Technical Education who are permanent residents in the State of Meghalaya for the year 2022-23 for the following Pragati and Saksham Scholarship schemes 2022. The last date for submission of the application is 31st October 2022.
1. Scholarship Name:- AlCTE Pragati Scholarship for Girl Students (Degree & Diploma)
- Eligibility Criteria for Pragati Scholarship
a. The girl candidate should be admitted to the first year of Degree/Diploma level course or second year of Degree/Diploma course through lateral entry in any of the AICTE approved institutions of the current year.
b. Maximum two Girl Children per family are eligible.
c. Family income from all sources should not be more than 8.0 Lakh per annum.
d. A valid income certificate issued by the Competent Authority need to be enclosed.
e. The Scholarship will be renewed for the next year of study on receipt of the renewal application through National Scholarship Portal by submitting a promotion certificate issued by the Head of Institution.
f. Students failing to get promoted to the next class/level would forfeit the scholarship.
2. Scholarship Name:- AICTE Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially Abled Students (Degree & Diploma)
- Eligibility Criteria for Saksham Scholarship
a. The candidate should be admitted to the first year of Degree/Diploma level course or second year of Degree/Diploma course through lateral entry in any of the AICTE approved institutions of the current year.
b. Specially Abled Students having disabilities of not less than 40% are eligible.
c. Family income from all sources should not be more than 8.0 Lakh per annum.
d. A valid income certificate issued by the Competent Authority need to be enclosed.
e. The Scholarship will be renewed for the next year of study on receipt of the renewal application through National Scholarship Portal by submitting a promotion certificate issued by the Head of Institution.
f. Students failing to get promoted to the next class/level would forfeit the scholarship.
How to apply for AICTE Pragati and Saksham Scholarship 2021
Students are to apply online through the URL www.scholarships.gov.in Print out of duly filled-in application forms are also to be submitted to their respective institutions, along with all supporting documents.
Only online applications will be accepted and no request for an offline application will be entertained.
The last date of submission of application forms will be on the 30st October 2022.
Document Required
- Mark Sheet of standard Xth/ XIIth/ others as applicable.
- Annual family Income Certificate for the preceding financial year in the prescribed format issued by not below the rank of Tahsildar.
- Disability certificate issued by Competent Authority (For Saksham Scholarship Scheme).
- Admission letter issued by the Directorate of Technical Education for admission in Diploma/Degree course.
- Certificate issued by the Director/ Principal/ Head of the Institute.
- Tuition fee receipt.
- AADHAR seeded Bank Pass Book in the name of the student indicating Account number, IFSC code, and Photograph
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC category.
- AADHAR card.
- Declaration by parents duly signed stating that the information provided by their child is correct and will refund the Scholarship amount if found false at any stage.
