NIEPMD Recruitment 2020:- The National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (Divyangjan) (NIEPMD) invites application from Indian Nationals eligible for engagement to the following temporary consultant positions on a contract basis at Composite Regional Centres for Skill Development, Rehabilitation, and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC), Shillong and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 1. Post Name:- Assistant Professor (PMR) (Consultant)
- No of posts:- 2 [A&N Island-1, Shillong-1]
- Salary:- Rs. 60,000/- (Consolidated– Fixed).
- Educational Qualification:-
i. MBBS
ii. PG degree/Diploma in PMR recognized by MCI/RCI.
iii. Registration with MCI.
iv. Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching or research in a related field. - Desirable:- Ph.D. in the field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
2. Post Name:- Assistant Professor (Speech & Hearing) (Consultant)

- Educational Qualification:-
i. Post Graduate Degree (Full-time course) in Speech and Hearing (Recognized by RCI).
ii. Registration with RCI.
iii. Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation. - Desirable:- Ph.D. in the related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
3. Post Name:- Assistant Professor (Special Education) (Consultant)

i. Master’s Degree with M.Ed. (Special Education.) (Full-time course) in any category recognized by RCI.

i. Master’s in Physiotherapy with specialization in Orthopaedics/ Neurology/ Paediatrics/ Dev. Disability from a recognized Institute. (Full Time)
ii. Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation. - Desirable:- Possessing any RCI recognized qualification
5. Post Name:- Lecturer (Occupational Therapy) (Consultant)

i. Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics registered with RCI.

- Educational Qualification for Clinical Assistant (Speech Therapist):-
i. B.Sc. (Sp. & Hg.) equivalent.
ii. Two years of relevant experience.
iii. Registration with RCI. - Education Qualification for Clinical Assistant (Developmental Therapist):-
i. BRS (MR)/ BMR/ BRT/ PGDDT/ PGDEI Bachelor/ Masters in Rehabilitation Science or Equivalent.

i. Commerce Graduate from a recognized University with hands-on knowledge of computer and Tally.
ii. Minimum 2 years experience in handling accounts/cash in Govt. or Semi Govt. Establishments/ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertaking/Semi-Government/ Quasi-Government. - Desirable:- M.Com/ MBA (Fin.)
10. Post Name:- Workshop Supervisor-cum Store Keeper (Consultant)
- No of posts:- 2 [A&N Island-1, Shillong-1]
- Salary:- Rs. 25,000/- (Consolidated– Fixed).
- Educational Qualification:-
i. 10+2 or equivalent qualification.
ii. Diploma / Certificate in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
iii. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the concerned area.

The period of contractual engagement as a consultant will be for 11 months.
