B.F.Sc Admission 2020:- The Director of Fisheries, Meghalaya invites application from eligible candidates for admission into the B.Sc Fisheries Course at the College of Fisheries, Lembucherra, Agartala, Tripura during the session 2020-21 against Meghalaya State Quota seat of 3 (three) numbers including 1 (one) seat for OBC category. The last date for submission of Application forms is fixed on the 19th of August 2020 during office hours.

- Age limit:- Applicants must have attained 16 (Sixteen) years of age on 31st August 2020 to be supported by Admit Cards/ Birth Certificates. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (Five) years in case of applicants belonging to ST/SC/OBC.
- Education Qualification:- Applicants must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology.
How to apply for B.F.Sc Admission 2020 against Meghalaya State Quota
Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application in Standard Forms to Director of Fisheries, Meghalaya, Shillong on or before 19th August 2020 during office hours. The application may also be submitted online via e-mail: megpisc@gmail.com
The application should be addressed to the Director of Fisheries, Meghalaya, Shillong, along with the following documents.
- Admit card
- Mark sheet
- SC/ST/OBC Certificates
- Domicile certificate from the competent authority
- Character certificate from the Institution last attended
- 2 (two) number of passport size photograph duly attested by Gazette officer
Selection Process
Candidates who possess the above-required qualification shall have to appear for Entrance Examination which will be conducted by the Department of Fisheries, Government of Meghalaya on 25th August 2020.
Admit Card for the Entrance Examination can be collected at the time of submission of Application Forms and it will be issued only to those candidates/applicants fulfilling the above eligibility criteria.
The Total Marks for the written Entrance Examination (objective type) is 100 marks (PCB: 90 Marks, General Knowledge: 10 marks).
The results of the written examination will be declared on the evening of 26th August 2020. The results may be viewed from the website: www.msam.nic.in and office notice board including the official Facebook page, Department of Fisheries, Meghalaya.
Shortlisted candidates shall have to appear for the viva voce which will be held on the 28th August 2020 at 10:30 A.M. onwards in the Office Chamber of the Director of Fisheries, Meghalaya, Shillong. The candidates should bring all the Original Certificates/ Testimonial for necessary verification.
Applicants from Garo Hills may submit their application forms to the office of the Superintendent of Fisheries, West Garo Hills, Tura, and will have to appear Personal Interview at the Directorate of Fisheries, Fish Dale Farm, Shillong as per the above date and time.
