MBDA Recruitment 2024 notification for Application Support Engineer, Content Developer, and Application Support Assistant jobs
The Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA) on behalf of the Planning Department, Government of Meghalaya under MeghEA Cell invites online applications of the following positions from eligible candidates to fill up the following position on a contractual basis. The last date for submission of the application is 21st August 2024.
1. Post Name: Application Support Engineer
- No of posts: 1
- Age limit: Upto 45 years
- Salary: Rs. 31,200/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in B.Tech/ BE in Computer Science/ Electronics & Communications Engineering or IT-related branches.
- Experience: Minimum 3 (three) years of experience in the relevant field.
- Essential Skills:
i) System administration, User support and training, Application Testing, and coordination with the Content Developer for content creation.
ii) Coordinate with the System Integrator on all issues relating to the system.
2. Post Name: Content Developer
- No of posts: 1
- Age limit: Upto 45 years
- Salary: Rs. 31,200/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in English in Mass Media/ Mass Communication, Journalism, Film Making & Photography.
- Experience: Minimum 3 (three) years of experience in the relevant field.
- Essential Skills:
i) Good verbal and communication skills
ii) Creative acumen with working knowledge of photography, video development, editing, report writing, and MS Office.
iii) Proficient in content creation for digital applications, videos, presentations, documents, etc.
iv) To develop training materials such as user manuals, videos, presentations, etc. for the applications.
3. Post Name: Application Support Assistant
- No of posts: 5
- Age limit: Upto 45 years
- Salary: Rs. 26,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in B.Tech/ BE in Computer Science/ Electronics & Communications Engineering or IT-related branches.
- Experience: Minimum 1 (One) year of experience in the relevant field.
- Essential Skills:
i) System administration, User support, training, Application Testing, and coordinating with the Content Developer for content creation.
ii) Coordinate with the System Integrator on all issues relating to the system.
Essential Skills for the Positions
- Good written and verbal communication. Expert in basic computer knowledge like Word Processing, Spread Sheets and Power Point Presentations, etc are the common essential skills requirement. Other skills required are mentioned above against each position.

Selection Process
- A Cover Letter on the candidate’s suitability and interest in the position (maximum 500 words) is mandatory for the position application failing which the applications will be rejected.
- There will be written/assignments and personal interviews for the positions. The written test will comprise Subject Matter Knowledge, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and English.
- The Written Test/ Personal Interview will be held only in Shillong.
