Meghalaya AIDSCS Recruitment 2024 notification. The office of the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society, Shillong invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Cluster Prevention Officer, Counsellor, and Technical Officer. The last date for submission of the application is 31.07.2024.
1. Post Name:- Cluster Prevention Officer

- Salary:- Rs. 45,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification:- Master’s Degree in Social Sciences/Public Health/ Management with 5 years experience in the development sector with a minimum of three (3) years of work experience in HIV/AIDS preferably in a supervisory capacity. The candidate should have a sound understanding of issues related to high-risk group Populations and have experience in designing and implementing Targeted intervention strategies for high-risk populations population such as Female Sex Workers, Transgender, Injected Drug Users, Migrants, Truckers, and prisoners.
- Desirable:- PG Diploma in HIV/AIDS or Fellowship in HIV/AIDS from any Govt. recognized institution.
2. Post Name:- Counsellor
- No of posts:- 1
- Place of posting:- Jowai
- Age limit:- As per Govt of Meghalaya norms.
- Salary:- Rs. 21,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification:- Graduate degree holder in Psychology/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human Development or hold a diploma in Nursing with a minimum of3-5 years of experience in Counseling/ Educating under the National Health Programme
OR
Postgraduate degree either in Psychology/ Social Work/ Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development/ Nursing
# If candidate is a person living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV)
Graduate degree holder in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development/Nursing with 1 year of experience in counseling/ educating under National Health Programmes. - Experience:- Experience working under the National AIDS and STD Control Programme (NACP) facility or community settings
3. Post Name:- Technical Officer
- No of posts:- 1
- Place of posting:- Shillong
- Age limit:- As per Govt of Meghalaya norms.
- Salary:- Rs. 35,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification:- B.SC in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences
- Desirable Qualification:- M. Sc in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ OR B. Tech (Biotechnology).
- Experience:-
# 5 years of experience working in any diagnostic laboratory for candidates with B.Sc in the above subjects
# 2 years of experience working in any diagnostic laboratory for candidates with M.Sc/ B. Tech in the above-mentioned subjects.
# Candidates with experience working In accredited labs or those labs that have applied for accreditation will be preferred
