NFL Recruitment 2024 notification. The National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) invites online applications for the posts of Engineer, Sr. Chemist, and Materials Officer. The application deadline is 01.07.2024.
1. Post Name:- Engineer (Production)
- No of posts:- 40 [UR:16, SC:6, ST:4, OBC:10, EWS:4]
- Essential Qualification:- Full-Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc. Engg.) in Chemical Engineering /Chemical Technology/ Chemical Process Technology with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Departmental candidates) from AICTE/ UGC approved institutions OR AMIE in Chemical Engineering from Government recognized
institute. - Post Qualification inline executive Work Experience:- Post qualification 01-year experience in erection and/or commissioning and/or operation of Ammonia – Urea fertilizer complex/ Continuous process chemical or Petrochemical industry/ Petroleum Refinery.
2. Post Name:- Engineer (Mechanical)
- No of posts:- 15 [UR:8, SC:1, ST:2, OBC:3, EWS:1]
- Essential Qualification:- Full-Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc. Engg.) in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Departmental candidates) from AICTE/ UGC approved Institution OR AMIE in Mechanical Engineering from Government recognized institute.
- Post Qualification inline executive Work Experience:- Post qualification one year experience in erection and/or operation and/or maintenance of electrical systems in Ammonia-urea fertilizer complex/ Continuous process chemical or Petro Chemical industry/ Petroleum Refinery/Power Plant.
3. Post Name:- Engineer (Electrical)

- Essential Qualification:- Full Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech./ B.E./ B.Sc. Engg.) in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates) from AICTE/ UGC approved Institution. OR AMIE in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.

Engg.) in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics Instrumentation & Control/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Industrial Instrumentation/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Control/ Electronics/ Electronics & Electrical with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Departmental candidates) from AICTE/ UGC approved Institution OR AMIE in Electronics & Communication from Government recognized institute.
- Post Qualification inline executive Work Experience:- Post qualification 01-year experience in operation and/or maintenance of instrumentation systems in Ammonia-Urea fertilizer complex/ Continuous process chemical or petroleum chemical industry/ Petroleum Refinery/ Power Plant.
5. Post Name:- Engineer (Civil)
- No of posts:- 1 [UR:1]
- Essential Qualification:- Full Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc. Engg.) in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates) from AICTE/ UGC approved Institution. OR AMIE in Civil Engineering from Government recognized institute.
- Post Qualification inline executive Work Experience:- Post qualification one year experience in the field of civil construction/ civil maintenance (regular/ contractual) in any company listed with the stock exchange. Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Liaison is not acceptable. Candidates having experience in Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer complex/ Continuous process chemical or petrochemical industry/ Petroleum Refinery/ Power Plant will be given preference.
6. Post Name:- Engineer (Fire & Safety)
- No of posts:- 3 [UR:3]
- Essential Qualification:- Full Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc Engg.) in Fire & Safety/ Fire Technology and Safety from AICTE/ UGC approved Institution with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Departmental candidates) OR Full Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech/ B.E/ B.Sc Engg.) in Electrical / Mechanical/ Chemical/ Fire from AICTE/ UGC approved institutions with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates) along with Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized Institute/ University.
- Post Qualification inline executive Work Experience:- Post Qualification one year Experience in Fire or Safety Department in Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer Complex/ Continuous process chemical or Petrochemical industry/ Petroleum refinery/ Power Plant.
7. Post Name:- Sr. Chemist (Chemical Lab)
- No of posts:- 9 [UR:4, SC:2, ST:0, OBC:2, EWS:1]
- Essential Qualification:- Full Time Regular M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Physical Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry with minimum 60 % marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Departmental candidates). Any other branch of Chemistry e.g. Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Toxicology, Geochemistry, Pharmacology, Food Technology etc. will not be considered towards eligibility.
- Post Qualification inline executive Work Experience:- Post qualification 01 year experience in NABL accredited Lab in the field of “TESTING” with discipline as “CHEMICAL” OR Control Laboratory attached to Ammonia- Urea Fertilizer complex/ Straight or Complex fertilizer industry/ Continuous process chemical industry or petro chemical industry/ Petroleum Refinery.
8. Post Name:- Materials Officer
- No of posts:- 6 [UR:3, SC:1, ST:1, OBC:1]
- Essential Qualification:- Full Time Regular Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.Tech./ B.E./ B.Sc.Engg.) in Mechanical/ Material Science/ Material science & technology/ Material science & engineering with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Departmental candidates) from AICTE/ UGC approved institutions. OR Minimum 60% Marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates) in 02 years full-time regular MBA/PG Degree/ PGDM/ PGDBM from Universities/ Institutes recognized by UGC/AICTE with specialization in Materials Management/ Logistics Management/ Supply Chain Management
- Post Qualification inline executive Work Experience:- Minimum 01 year of post qualification experience in Materials Management activities such as Purchasing and/ Stores in Fertilizer/ Chemical/ Petro-Chemical/ Hydrocarbon/ Power/ Cement/ Manufacturing industries/ Railways/ Metro Services.
Age limit:- 18 to 30 years as on 31/05/2024. Upper age relaxation as per govt norms.
Salary:- Pay Scale E-1 (2017 IDA based), Rs. 40000 – 140000/-. Approx Offered CTC Rs. 12.99 Lakh Per Annum.
