NEHU Recruitment 2024 notification. The Department of Chemistry, NEHU Shillong invites applications for the post of Project Fellow (Junior-I) for the UGC-DAE-CSR funded research project. The application deadline is 25th June 2024.

- Age limit:- The upper age limit is 28 years at the time of appointment.
- Salary:- The fellowship is valid for one year (1 yr.) initially with remuneration of Rs. 14,000/- per month (plus HRA as admissible).
- Essential Qualification:- M. Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate score.
- Desirable:- Qualifying CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test JRF-NET including LS/ Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
- Duration:- One year (The tenure may be extended for two more years depending on the progress of the work and subject to the approval of the funding authority).

Screening and Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview to be held via hybrid/online mode on 27th June 2024 at 10.00 AM at the Chemistry department office, NEHU campus, Shillong.
Shortlisted candidates should appear for an interview in person with original academic transcripts, proof of date of birth, Aadhar card, and PAN with one set of photocopies of all the documents.
