ICMR Meghalaya Recruitment 2023: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following position for the Pan India Study entitled “Diet and Biomarker Survey in India (DABS-I)” funded by ICMR at this Institute on a temporary contract basis in Meghalaya. These posts require extensive travel in Meghalaya to co-ordinate the study. Date of Walk-in-Interview on 04.12.2023
1. Post Name:- Jr. Medical Officer
- No of posts:- 2 [ST:1, UR:1]
- Age limit:- Not exceeding 30 years.
- Salary:- Rs. 60,000 + 15,000 (FDA)
- Essential Qualification:- MBBS/ AYUSH/ BDS Degree from a recognized university and registration in the respective medical/ AYUSH/ dental council, and willing to work in the field and am able to understand the local language.
- Desirable: Masters in Public Health OR minimum of one year of experience in field or community studies.
2. Post Name:- Sr. Technical Assistant
- No of posts:- 4 [ST:2, OBC:1, SC:1]
- Age limit:- Not exceeding 30 years
- Salary:- Rs. 32,000 + 12,000 (FDA)
- Essential Qualification:- Graduate in Science (Biochemistry/ Microbiology) /Anthropology/ Social Science/ Sociology/ Social Work from a recognized university with a minimum of two years of experience or a graduate degree in the above-specified subjects will be considered as two years of experience willing to work in the field.
- Desirable:- Experience in drawing blood samples, and processing blood samples in field studies.
3. Post Name:- SRF (Food and Nutrition)
- No of posts:- 6
- Age limit:- Not exceeding 35 years
- Salary:- Rs. 44,450 + 12000 (FDA)
- Essential Qualification:- Master’s(M.Sc./MPH) in Food & Nutrition, Home Science, and willing to work in the field and understand the local language.
- Desirable: One year experience in conducting field or community studies (24-hour dietary recall data collection).
4. Post Name:- SRF (Anthropology/ Sociology/ Social work)
- No of posts:- 2
- Age limit:- Not exceeding 35 years
- Salary:- Rs. 44,450 + 12000 (FDA)
- Essential Qualification:- Post exceeding +12,000 months Graduation 35 years (FDA) (M.SC./M.A./MSW) in Anthropology/ Sociology/ Social Science/ Social Work from a recognized university and willing to work in the field and able to understand the local language.
- Desirable: One year experience in conducting anthropometry, mobile tablet-based data collection in field or community studies
5. Post Name:- Project Assistant (phlebotomist)
- No of posts:- 4 [ST:2, OBC:1, SC:1]
- Age limit:- Not exceeding 30 years
- Salary:- Rs. 31,000 + 12,000 (FDA)
- Essential Qualification:- Graduate in MLT from a recognized university OR DMLT with one year of relevant experience (the blood sample collection) OR B.Sc (Nursing) OR Two years nursing with one year of relevant experience (the blood sample collection) AND willing to work in the field and able to understand the local language.
6. Post Name:- Field worker
- No of posts:- 8 [ST:2, OBC:1, SC:1, UR:4]
- Age limit:- Not exceeding 30 years
- Salary:- Rs. 18,000 + 10,000 FDA
- Essential Qualification:- 12th pass in Science subject and willing to work in the field & able to understand the local language.
- Desirable: Minimum one year of experience in data collection from the field or community.
The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
