The Individual Consultant is expected to provide the following Consulting Services

1. Identify potential rural tourism destinations in the State.
2. Collect, analyze and interpret data and prepare the relevant parts of the strategic platform document from the rural tourism and demographic perspective.
3. Mobilization of the local community for the potential of rural tourism in their area.
4. Liaison with the locals, the govt and different affiliated societies.
5. Technical know-how on how to aid in setting up of rural accommodation and facilities.
6. Creating awareness on the income generation possibility due to rural tourism.
7. Engaging with the rural community to preserve the local heritage of that particular place to create an experience for the visiting tourists.
8. Should be able to conduct a systematic survey to identify the rural activity/ product/ practices for which that area has the expertise and has been built over a long time period of time.
9. Actively participating in the rural lifestyle to understand the best experience that the place has to offer.
