BIS Recruitment 2024 notification for Scientist-B in various disciplines. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) invites applications for the posts of Scientist-B in various disciplines i.e. Chemistry, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The selection will be based on GATE score of 2022/2023/2024. The last date for submission of the application is 16.08.2024.

Electrical Engineering: 7 [UR:2, OBC:2, SC:2, EWS:1] - Age limit:- The maximum age limit for the eligibility of the candidates is 30 years as on the closing date of application. i.e., as of 16.08.2024. The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PWD candidates.
- Salary:- Pay Level 10 as per the Seventh Central Pay Commission plus allowances as applicable. The gross emoluments at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 1,11,780/- at Delhi at present.
- Essential Qualification:-
- Civil Engineering:-
1) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than sixty percent marks in aggregate [fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes]
2) Having a valid GATE score of 2022/2023/2024. The GATE score must be valid as of 16.08.2024 (closing date of application).

1) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than sixty percent marks in aggregate [fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled

1) Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or equivalent [in Chemistry discipline only] with not less than sixty percent marks in aggregate [fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes].
