1. M.A. in History with at least 55% marks (General candidates) and 50% marks (SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent grade from any Indian University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
2. Candidates must also fulfill all other norms stipulated by the UGC required for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor in a college. - Desirable:-
1. Candidates who have had teaching experience of at least two years and above will be preferred.
2. Preference will also be given to candidates with consistently good academic records as defined by the University.
