NCTE Recruitment 2020:- National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) invites online applications from Indian citizens for recruitment for the post of Assistant, Stenographer Grade ‘C’, Stenographer Grade ‘D’, Lower Division Clerk (LDC) & Data Entry Operator(DEO) and the recruitment examination will be conducted through Computer Based Test/ Examination. The last date for submission of application is 19.09.2020.
1. Post Name:- Assistant
- No of posts:- 3 [UR-3]
- Age limit:- Between 20 to 27 years as on date of 19th September 2020.
- Pay level:- Level 6 (Rs. 35400 – 112400)as per 7th CPC.
- Educational Qualification:- A degree from a recognized university.
- Desirable:- Two years’ experience in general administration/ establishment/ stores/ accounts in Central/State Govt., autonomous or other organizations.
2. Post Name:- Stenographer Grade ‘C’
- No of posts:- 3 [UR-1, ST-1, PH-1]
- Age limit:- Between 18 to 27 years as on date of 19th September 2020.
- Pay level:- Level 6 (Rs. 35400 – 112400) as per 7th CPC.
- Educational Qualification:-
1. 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
2. A speed of 100 words per minute in English/ Hindi Shorthand.
3. The skill of Data Entry and Word Processing in the computer. (Preference will be given to the person with knowledge of both English and Hindi Stenography).
3. Post Name:- Stenographer Grade ‘D’
- No of posts:- 6 [UR-4, OBC-2]
- Age limit:- Between 18 to 27 years as on date of 19th September 2020.
- Pay level:- Level 4 (Rs. 25500 – 81100) as per 7th CPC.
- Educational Qualification:-
1. 12th class pass from a recognized Board or University
2. Skill Test Norms Dictation: 10 mts. @ 80 w.p.m. Transcription: 65 mts. (Eng.) 75 mts. (Hindi) (On Manual Typewriter) Or 50 mts. (Eng.). 65 mts. (Hindi) (On Computer).
4. Post Name:- Data Entry Operator
- No of posts:- 1 [UR-1]
- Age limit:- Between 18 to 27 years as on date of 19th September 2020.
- Pay level:- Level 4 (Rs. 25500 – 81100) as per 7th CPC.
- Educational Qualification:- 1. 10+2 from a recognized Board/ University. Should possess a speed of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.
5. Post Name:- Lower Division Clerk
- No of posts:- 5 [UR-2, OBC-2, PH-1]
- Age limit:- Between 18 to 27 years as on date of 19th September 2020.
- Pay level:- Level 2 (Rs. 19900 – 63200)as per 7th CPC.
- Educational Qualification:-
1. 10+2 from a recognized Board or University.
2. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on the computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key
depressions for each word).
3. Knowledge of working on the computer.

Selection Procedure
