NF Railway Apprentice 2019:- Northeast Frontier Railway is inviting application engagement of Act Apprentices for training under Apprentices Act,1961 for the year 2018- 2019 in the trades Machinist, Welder, Fitter, Carpenter, Diesel Mechanic, Painter, Electrician, Turner, Refrigerator and AC Mechanic, Lineman, Mason, Fitter Structural, Machinist (Grinder), Information & Communication Technology System maintenance, etc. for the following unit
- Ailpurduar Division:- 437
- Rangia Division:- 328
- Lumding Division:- 1004
- Tinsukia Division:- 331
- New Bongaigaon Workshop (NBQS):- 156
- EWS/BNGN:- 185
- Dibrugarh Workshop (DBWS):- 149
Minimum Qualification
Must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also should possess ITI in relevant trades approved by NCVT/SCVT.
Age limit
15- 24 years as on 18-09-2019. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and PH & Ex. Serviceman as admissible.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be base on the basis of trade wise merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification in respective Units. The merit list in each unit will be prepared on the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks.
Stipend
The selected candidates will be paid as per Apprentice Act.
How to apply for NF Railway Apprentice 2019
Interested and eligible candidates may send their application along with self-attested copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Caste, Age, etc. and any other relevant documents on or before 31-10-2019 18-11-2019 Upto 17-00 Hours (extended).
The candidates should send their duly filled application form along with enclosure to the respective units at the appropriate address as stated in the notification.
Candidates must enclose 2 (11×5 inches) self-addressed envelop with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs. 5/- on each of the envelop.
One candidate can apply for only one unit and trade. The candidates applying for more than one unit will not be entertained.
