Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for Engagement as Apprentices under The Apprentices Act 1961 in Punjab National Bank across the country. Online Registration of Application is from 30.06.2024 to 14.07.2024.

- No of posts:- Total 2700
- Age limit:- Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 30.06.2024 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 30.06.1996 and not later than 30.06.2004. The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PWD candidates.

# Urban: Rs. 12,000
# Metro: Rs. 15,000 - Essential Qualification as on 30.06.2024:-
# Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 30.06.2024 and the candidate must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional/ Degree Certificate issued from the University/ College/ Institute as and when required by the Bank.
# The candidates applying for training seats in a particular State/ UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the local language of that State/UT.

For Registration of PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024:-
All eligible applicants are requested to register themselves for the apprenticeship entrance examination/ test by visiting the “Career Opportunities” section of www.bfsissc.com and making the payment of the applicable examination fees as per the category stated under section “L” provided below. Thereafter, the applicant will have to register and complete his/her profile, if not done before, separately in two different Government apprenticeship portals viz.
- NAPS Apprenticeship Portal www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (Apprentices Login/ Registration Section) and
- NATS portal www.nats.education.gov.in (Student Register/Login Section – applicable only for those who have passed their graduation on or after 1st Apr 2020).
The following documents be kept ready before enrolling in the portal:
- Aadhaar card
- Valid Personal Email ID (will be required to activate account and Login)
- Mobile number
- Passport size photograph Format: JPEG, Size: Less than 1 MB
- Qualifying Degree/ Provisional Certificate, Format: PDF, Size: Less than 1 MB

Online written test (to be held on 28.07.2024):
The structure of the online written examination (MCQ type) would be as follows:
- General/ Financial Awareness: 25 Marks
- General English: 25 Marks
- Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude: 25 Marks
- Computer Knowledge: 25 Marks
Test of local language:
- The candidates applying for training seats in a particular State should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State.
- Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.
- For other candidates, the test for knowledge of the local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted when the candidate is called for document verification by the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be engaged as apprentices.
Duration of PNB Apprentice Training
- The total Duration of training will of one year from the date of the contract. The one-year training will include 2 weeks of Basic Training and 50 weeks of On-the-Job Training.

- PwBD Rs. 400/-+GST @18% = Rs.472/-
- Female/ SC/ ST Rs. 600/-+GST @18% = Rs.708/-
- GEN/OBC Rs. 800/-+GST@18% = Rs.944/-
