- Salary:- As per Prasar Bharati Shillong norms.
- Essential Qualoification:-
(i) PG Diploma/ Degree in Journalism/Mass Media OR Graduate with two years of journalistic experience.
(iii) Should reside at the district headquarters OR within a radius of 10 Km from the district HQs/ Municipal limit in the district for which he/she is being engaged. - Desirable Qualification:-
1. Knowledge of computers & word processing.
2. Possessions/access to Camera/equipment for Television coverage.
3. Experience with visual coverage.
4. The person already in government service, Central/State Govt./Administration of the Union Territory or in any Public Service Undertaking (PSU) and member of any political party will not be considered for appointment as Part Time Correspondent.
