BSF Recruitment 2022: Online applications are invited from eligible Male and Female Indian citizens for filling up the under-mentioned vacancies for the Combatised posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial) in the Border Security Force. 1. Post Name:- Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer)
- No of posts:- 11 [UR:0, EWS:0, OBC:0, SC:0, ST:11]
- Age limit:- Between 18 to 25 years. The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 3 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates.
- Salary:- Pay Level– 5 (Rs. 29,200 – 92,300) in pay matrix.
- Educational Qualification:- Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
- Required Skill:- Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in English OR in Hindi in 10 minutes. Transcription of dictation in English in 50 minutes OR in Hindi in 65 minutes, on computer.
2. Post Name:- Head Constable (Ministerial)
- No of posts:- 154 [UR:154, EWS:41, OBC:65, SC:38, ST:14]
- Age limit:- Between 18 to 25 years. The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 3 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates.
- Salary:- Pay Level– 4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100) in pay matrix.
- Educational Qualification:- Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
- Required Skill:- 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer. (35 w.p.m in English and 30 w.p.m in Hindi correspond to 10500 KDPH in English and 9000 KDPH in Hindi respectively with an average of 5 key depressions for each word on the computer). Time Allowed: 10 minutes.

- Hindi/English Language: 20 Marks.
- General Intelligence: 20 Marks.

Application Fee
Candidates applying for the post of ASI(Steno) and HC(Ministerial) to pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as examination fee through any of the following payment modes:-
- Net banking of any bank.
- Credit/Debit Card of any bank.
- UPI
- Wallet
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF candidates, Female candidates, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee. However, Rs.40/- plus taxes = Rs.47.2/- will be charged to every candidate including exempted category as “service charge” by the CSC.
