Social Welfare Meghalaya Recruitment 2025: The Director of Social Welfare Meghalaya, Shillong invites applications for the posts of Consultant, Project Associate and Accountant for Implementation of the POSHAN Abhlyaan under Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0, Social Welfare Department. The last date for submission of the application is 21.04.2025.

1. Post Name: Consultant (planning, Monitoring & Evaluation)

  • No of posts: 1
  • Age limit: As per Govt of Meghalaya norms.
  • Salary: Rs. 60,000/- per month
  • Essential Qualification: MBA/ PG Degree in Computer Applications/ Computer Science or B.Tech/BE in IT/ Computer Engineering or PG in Science with formal training on IT/Computer with at least 60% marks. 
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 05 years of post-qua 11ft cation experience in IT /ICT Systems Implementation and analysts.
    • Project Management experience
    • Extensive experience In development and Implementation of web-based applications and mobile applications and demonstrated knowledge and proficiency In M&E methodologies
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and conversant in local language
    • Good computer skills
    • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Government agencies or External Aided Projects

2. Post Name: Consultant (Health and Nutrition)

  • No of posts: 1
  • Age limit: As per Govt of Meghalaya norms.
  • Salary: Rs. 60,000/- per month
  • Essential Qualification: PG Degree in Nutrition/Public Health/Rural Development Community Medicine /MSc in Nutrition with at least 60% marks.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience in planning. implementation and monitoring of child and women nutrition programmes
    • For applicants with PhD in Nutrition related subjects, years of doctoral time would be counted as 3 years of experience
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office Including Word, Excel PowerPoint
    • Good understanding of decentralized planning and supportive supervision
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills In English and conversant in local language
    • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Government agencies or External Aided projects.

3. Post Name: Consultant (Capacity Building & Behavior Change Communication)

  • No of posts: 1
  • Age limit: As per Govt of Meghalaya norms.
  • Salary: Rs. 60,000/- per month
  • Essential Qualification: PG Degree in Health Communication/ Mass Communications/Rural Development that includes courses in training/capacity building management in
  • health with at least 60% marks. 
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience in planning and implementing behavior change communication and capacity building Interventions in public health /nutrition programmes
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office Including Word, Excel Power Point 
    • Professional experience In planning. Implementation and monitoring of Training programs at the state and district levels
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and conversant in local language
    • Preference will be given to candidates having experience In Government agencies or External Aided projects.

4. Post Name: Project Associate

  • No of posts: 3
  • Age limit: As per Govt of Meghalaya norms.
  • Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month
  • Essential Qualification: Graduate In Computer Science or Information Technology (IT) with at least 60% marks  
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 03 years of post qualification experience in the relevant field 
    • Formal training in IT/ mobile applications
    • Experience working with technology and software application support
    • Experience working with front line workers of Government Department and training on IT/Mobiles/Computer
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills In local language
    • Computer literacy must
    • Preference will be given to candidates having experience In Government agencies or External Aided projects.

5. Post Name: Accountant

  • No of posts: 1
  • Age limit: As per Govt of Meghalaya norms.
  • Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month
  • Essential Qualification: CWA-Inter/ CA-Inter/ MBA (Finance)/ Post Graduate in Commerce/ Accounting with at least 60% marks. 
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 03 years of post-qualification experience In accounting with exposure In budgeting and audit out which 2 years should be in Government/PSU sector or any External Aided Projects
    • Experience working with Microsoft office Including work, excel and power point and any Accounting Software
    • OR
    • Government employees retired as Accountant/ Accounts Officer / Audit Officer with at least 5 years experience.
