Shillong Science Centre Recruitment 2025: The Shillong Science Centre invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Apprentices under the PULSE Program, Science on Wheels, and STEM Labs at the Shillong Science Centre, Shillong and Digital Planetarium, Tura. The candidates must be a resident of Meghalaya. The last date for submission of the application is 28th April 2025.
1. Post Name: Educational Apprentice
- No of posts: 4
- Location: Shillong
- Age limit: Maximum of 26 years but not less than 18 years.
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 7,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Minimum B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized university
- Desirable Qualification/Language Requirement:
- Experience in educational outreach, training, or science communication
- English, Khasi, Hindi, Garo.
2. Post Name: Educational Apprentice
- No of posts: 2
- Age limit: Maximum of 26 years but not less than 18 years.
- Location: Tura, preference will be given to local candidate of the region
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 7,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Minimum B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized university
- Desirable Qualification/Language Requirement:
- Experience in educational outreach, training, or science communication
- English, Khasi, Hindi, Garo.
3. Post Name: Accounts Apprentice
- No of posts: 1
- Location: Shillong
- Age limit: Maximum of 26 years but not less than 18 years.
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 7,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com.) from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification/Language Requirement:
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.) and financial record-keeping
- English, Khasi, Hindi
4. Post Name: IEC (Information, Education & Communication) Apprentice
- No of posts: 1
- Location: Shillong
- Age limit: Maximum of 26 years but not less than 18 years.
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 7,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media and Mass Communication, from a recognized university/institution
- Desirable Qualification/Language Requirement:
- Experience in preproduction of video content, graphic design, editing in photoshop and social media management.
- English, Khasi, Hindi
