1. Post Name: Technical Assistant (Inductively Coupled Plasma)
- No of posts: 1
- Location: Research Office, Shillong
- Salary: Rs. 26,000/- Plus other allowance
- Essential Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Instrumentation.
- Desired Experiences: Minimum 1 year of experience/ Skill in operation of Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS)/ Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP)/ Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LCMS)/ Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) equipment.
- Required Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge on the mentioned instruments (ICP)/(AAS)/(LCMS)/(GCMS).
- Understanding and adherence to laboratory safety protocols, including the handling of chemicals, hazardous materials, and ICP equipment.
- Understanding of the fundamental principles of ICP technology.
- Experience with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of ICP systems, including identifying and resolving issues related to performance and operation.
2. Post Name: Technical Assistant (Soil Testing)
- No of posts: 4
- Location: District Agriculture Office, Nongstoin District Agriculture Office, Williamnagar
- Salary: Rs. 26,000/- Plus other allowance
- Essential Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in Agriculture or Horticulture.
- Desired Experiences: Minimum 1 year of Skill/Experience in conducting the Soil Analysis work in the Laboratory and Soil testing.
- Required Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge and experience in Soil testing.
- Knowledge of different soil testing methods.
- Understanding of various soil properties, including physical and chemical properties.
- Understanding of laboratory safety standards, particularly handling chemicals and equipment during soil analysis.
