Meghalaya BSc Nursing Admission 2025 notification, The Director of Health Services Medical Education & Research (DME), Government of Meghalaya invites Online Application for appearing the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) from interested candidates who desire to pursue admission B.Sc. Nursing Course in State Government Quota and in Private Institution within the State. The application deadline is 12th May 2025.
Course Name: Common Entrance Examination 2025 for B.Sc. Nursing Course
- Age limit:- Minimum age for applying will be 17 years as on 31st December 2025. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Candidate with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
- Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science and English only.
- English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for applying the CEE for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
- Other essential criteria:–
- a) Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
- b) Candidates shall be medically fit.
- c) Married candidates are also eligible for applying.
- d) Reservation for disability – as per INC guidelines.
How to apply for Meghalaya BSc Nursing Admission 2025, CEE 2025 Exam?
Candidates can apply for CEE- 2025 through the “Online” mode only on the website www.meghealth.gov.in. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
Applicants must register themselves in the Online Portal, if previously not registered. Those who are already registered may login directly using their registered email id and password.
When Candidates register/ submitting the fees, they have to enter the OTP received on their registered Mobile Number.
Only the candidates obtaining the desired percentile stipulated by the conducting authority will be considered as eligible candidates for admission B.Sc. Nursing course in State Government Quota or in Private Institution within the State.
The application deadline is 12th May 2025.
Exam Pattern for CEE 2025
The Question Paper will be based purely on the given current syllabus
- Aptitude for Nursing: 20 Marks
- Physics: 20 Marks
- Chemistry: 20 Marks
- Biology: 20 Marks
- English: 20 Marks
Mode of Examination
The CEE 2025 is a Pen & Paper-based Test, to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable OMR sheet using Ball Point Pen. Moreover tampering with the OMR at any stage will lead to declaration of candidates as unsuccessful.
Centres
- There will be two separate Centres for writing the Examination, i.e. at Shillong and Tura.
Application Fee
- Rs. 300/- For candidates belonging to ST/Sc. For others: Rs. 500/-.
