BRO Recruitment 2025: The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) invites applications for the for 411 nos of Multi Skilled Worker (MSW) posts in various trades i.e. Cook, Mason, Blacksmith, and Mess Waiter under General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) of BRO. The last date for submission of the application is 11th March 2025 (For NE States).

• Trade-wise vacancy list:
1. Cook: 153
2. Mason: 172
3. Blacksmith: 75
4. Mess Waiter: 11
•  Age limit: 18 to 25 years as on 25th February 2025. The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PWD candidates.
• Gender: Only male candidates need to apply for these posts.
• Trade wise required essential qualification:
• MSW Cook:
• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent ;
• Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
• Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
• Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
• Mason:
• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent ;
• Possessing certificate of Building construction/Bricks Mason from Industrial Training Institute/ Industrial Trade Certificate/ National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades/ State Council for Vocational Training OR
• Passed Certificate Class II for Mason as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records/ Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
• Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
• Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
• Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
• Blacksmith:
• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;
• Possessing certificate of Black Smith or forge technology or heat transfer technology or Sheet Metal worker certificate from Industrial Training Institute /Industrial Trade Certificate/ National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades/ State Council for Vocational Training.
• OR
• Passed Class 2 course for Black Smith as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for soldiers) from office of Records/Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
• Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
• Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines
• Mess Waiter:
• Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;
• Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
• Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
• Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
