- No of posts: 35 [UR:05, K:15, Garo:14, OSTs/SCs:1]
- Age limit: 32 years as on the last date of submission of the application form. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes, enjoy a further relaxation of 5 years over the upper age limit of 32 years.
- Salary: Pay level-14 of the pay matrix Rs. 43,700- 97,100/-
- Essential Qualification: Post-Graduate degree in Agri/ Horti/ AH & Vety/Fisheries/ RDAP/ Rural Development/ Home science or subjects related to livehodd improvement in rural areas OR Post-Graduate diploma in Rural Development. Candidates should have obtain at least 55% marks in their PG level from a recognized university or institute as the case may be.
- Experience: Minimum two years working experience in Meghalaya in the rural development sector with field experience is mandatory.

Selection and shortlisting will be purely based on merit, qualification and experience.

Selection Procedure
- Prelims/Screening Examination: Candidates who meet the qualification and criteria will be screened through a multiple-choice based exam on topics community & rural development.
- Mains Examination: Shortlisted candidates based on the marks obtained Prelims/Screening examination will undergo a mains examination consisting of a writ comprising the following topics:
- Technical knowledge of concepts and programs across community & rural development, health, social welfare. education and others: 100 Marks
- Problem-solving scenarios: 100 Marks
- Personal Interview: Only those candidates who are declared to have passed the Prelims/Screening Test and Mains (written) Examination shall be eligible to appear for the Personal Interview
The venue and timing of the examination will be intimated in the admit card to be the applicant from the website.

- Half the rate for SC/ST who are permanent residents of the State of Meghalaya
