Post Name: Officer Trainee (Law)
- No of posts: 9 [UR:6, OBC:2, SC:1]
- Upper age limit: 28 years as of the last date of submission of online application. The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PWD candidates.
- Salary: Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/- along with extant IDA, HRA, and Perks @12% of basic pay during the training period. On successful completion of training and upon
regularization, the candidate will be absorbed as Officer (Law) in E2 scale – Rs. 50,000/- 3%- 1,60,000/- (IDA). - Essential Qualification: Full-time Three-year LLB or Five years integrated Law/LLB course with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA as per the formula provided by the Institute/ University.

Selection Procedure POWERGRID Recruitment 2024 Officer Trainee (Law)
The selection process shall consist of CLAT – 2025 (for admission to post-graduation) of eligible candidates, Document Verification, Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, Personal Interview & Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
For calculation of the final score of a candidate for empanelment, the weights assigned to CLAT 2025 marks, Group Discussion, and Interview shall be as indicated below:
- Marks in CLAT 2025 (for admission in Post Graduation): 85%
- Group Discussion: 3%
- Personal Interview: 12%
