The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) invites applications for the posts of Constable Tailor and Cobbler, Head Constable (Education & Stress Counselor) and Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist), Head Constable (Midwife). 1. Post Name:- Constable (Tailor)
- No of posts:- 18 [Male: 16, Female:2]
- Age limit:- Candidates age must be between 21 to 23 years old as of 18th August 2024—upper age relaxation as per norms.
- Salary:- Pay level-3 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 21,700-69,100 (as per 7th CPC).
- Essential Qualification:-
# Matriculation or 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institution or equivalent;
# Two years of work experience in respective trade.
# One year certificate from ITI/ Vocational institute with at least one year experience in the trade or
# Two years Diploma from ITI in the trade.
2. Post Name:- Constable (Cobbler)
- No of posts:- 33 [Male:28, Female:5]
- Age limit:- Candidates age must be between 21 to 23 years old as of 18th August 2024—upper age relaxation as per norms.
- Salary:- Pay level-3 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 21,700-69,100 (as per 7th CPC).
- Essential Qualification:-
# Matriculation or 10th pass from a recognized Board or Institution or equivalent;
# Two years of work experience in respective trade.
# One year certificate from ITI/ Vocational institute with at least one year experience in the trade or
# Two years Diploma from ITI in the trade.
3. Post Name:- Head Constable (Education & Stress Counselor)
- No of posts:- 112 [Male:96, Female:16]
- Age limit:- Between 20 to 25 years. Upper age relaxation as per norms.
- Salary:- Pay level-4 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 25,500- 81,100 (as per 7th CPC).
- Essential Qualification:-
Degree from a recognized university or equivalent with Psychology as a subject
OR
Degree from a recognized university with a Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent.
4. Post Name:- Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse)
- No of posts:- 10
- Age limit:- 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation as per norms.
- Salary:- Pay level-6 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 35,400- 112,400 (as per 7th CPC).
- Essential Qualification:-
# 10+2 examination passed from recognized Board or equivalent.
# Having passed the examination in General Nursing and Midwife.
# Registered with Central Nursing Council or State Nursing Council. - Desirable:- Three years experience as a Nurse
5. Post Name:- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist)
- No of posts:- 5
- Age limit:- 21 to 28 years. Upper age relaxation as per norms.
- Salary:- Pay level-5 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 29,200- 92,300 (as per 7th CPC).
- Essential Qualification:-
# Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
# Diploma in Pharmacy from any Central/State Government institute or any institute recognized by the Central/ State Government.
# Registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
6. Post Name:- Head Constable (Midwife) (Only Female Candidates)
- No of posts:- 14
- Age limit:- 18 to 25 years. Upper age relaxation as per norms.
- Salary:- Pay level-4 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 25,500- 81,100 (as per 7th CPC).
- Essential Qualification:-
# Passed 10th examination from a recognized Board or equivalent.
# Passed Auxilary Nursing Midewife Course from a recognized institute.
# Registered in Nursing Council of Central Government or State Government.
