- Essential Qualification: SSLC passed with a certificate or diploma in computer studies. A minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute is necessary.
2. Post Name: Sericulture Demonstrator (Gr-III)

# HSSLC passed in the Science stream. Physical fitness is mandatory; candidates must meet certain height and chest measurements. A physical test involving walking is also required.
# A health certificate in the form prescribed in Article 49 of the Civil Regulation signed by the DM&HO and testifying of the candidate’s sound hearing, good vision, general physical fitness and rough outdoor life in the Forest Department, body marks of successful vaccination will be required for each candidate. Age limit
- The candidate must be at least 18 years old and not older than 32 years as of 1st July 2024. However, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for ST/SC/OSTs candidates who are permanent residents of Meghalaya.

DSC West Garo Hills Online Application
Candidates applying online mode must submit their applications through the Government of Meghalaya Online Recruitment Application System by visiting www.westgarohills.gov.in where in District Selection Committee section is available.
For candidates applying for the first time through online mode, a one-time registration process with a valid Email ID is required to enable the applicant to apply against the advertised vacancies/posts.
The last date for online application is 05:00 P.M. of 3rd October 2024.
Candidates, who have already registered with the Committee’s website may log in and apply directly against the advertised vacancies/posts indicated above.
Payment of Fees: The application fee can be paid online through SBI Net Banking, ATM-cum-Debit/Credit Cards, or through the SBI e-Pay Payment Gateway. The fee structure is as follows:
DSC West Garo Hills Offline Application
Candidates who are applying offline can collect the DSC Offline Application Form which will be available free of cost in the office of the District Selection Committee, West Garo Hills, Tura, and affix two copies of recent passport-size photographs should be submitted on or before 4th October 2024.
2 (Two) numbers of window envelopes (4cms x 9cms) size affixing postage stamp of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only should be submitted along with the application if it is submitted offline.
Payment of Fees: The application fee can be paid via Treasury Challan. The fee structure is the same as mentioned above, and the payment should be made under the Head of Account “0070-Other Administrative Services-60-Other Services-800-Other Receipts-(16) Receipt under District Selection Committee (DSC).”

- For ST/SC/OSTs candidates: Rs 50/-
- For General/Others candidates: Rs 100/-
- Candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category are exempted from paying the application/examination fees. However, a valid Disability Certificate must be furnished along with the application to avail of this exemption.
