RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a job notification for 5696 no’s Assistant Loco Pilot vacancies, of which 62 no’s vacancies are under RRB Guwahati. Eligible candidates may apply online. The application deadline is 19th February 2024.

- Age limit:- Between 18 to 30 years as on 1st July 2024. The Upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC, and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Salary:- Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 19900/- plus other allowances as admissible.
- Essential Qualification:-
A) Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic
OR
Matriculation/ SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above
OR
B) 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering.
OR
Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized Institution in lieu of ITI - Note: A degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of a Diploma in Engineering

- Medical Standard: A1
- Physical Standard: Physically Fit in All Standards
- Vision Standard:
# Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/6 Without glasses with fogging test (must not accept +2D)
# Near Vision: Sn: 0.6. 0.6 Without glasses
# Must Pass the test for Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic Vision, etc.
