Meghalaya TET 2023: The Director of Educational Research and Training (DERT), Meghalaya invites online applications from candidates who are permanent residents of Meghalaya and desirous of applying for the Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test 2023. The tentative date for the Examination is on the 1st December 2023. The last date for submission of the application is 26 October 2023.

Meghalaya TET 2023 Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
For Lower Primary (Class I-V)
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Higher Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years of B.El.ED
OR
Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR
Graduation with at least 50% Marks and D.El.Ed/ B.Ed
For Upper Primary (Class VI-VIII)
- Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% Marks and D.El.Ed/ B.Ed
OR
Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years of Bachelor in Elementary education (B.El.Ed)
OR
Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A/B.Sc. ED or B.A.ED/B.Sc.ED
OR
Graduation with 50% Marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special education)
Relaxation up to 5% in the Qualifying Marks in the Minimum Educational Qualification to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD Category
How to apply for Meghalaya TET 2023 Notification: Teacher Eligibility Test 2023?
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for the Meghalaya TET 2023 through the Meghalaya Education Department official Website www.megeducation.gov.in from 3rd October 2023 (10:00 AM) till 26th October 2023 (Up to 5:00 PM).
The Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 (MTET 2023) for Lower Primary (Class I-V) and Upper Primary (Class VI-VIII) will be conducted within the jurisdiction of all the 15 (fifteen) Sub-Divisional School Education office on 1st December 2023.
