(a) ICAR Institutes: 391 [UR:235, OBC:79, EWS:23, SC:41, ST:13, PwD:5]
(b) Headquarter: 71 [UR:44, OBC:16, EWS:3, SC:7, ST:1, PwD:3] - Age limit:- 20 to 30 years as of 1st June 2022. The upper age relaxation is up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PWD candidates.
- Salary:-
(a) ICAR Institutes: Pay Level-06 of 7th CPC.
(b) Headquarter: Pay Level-07 of 7th CPC. - Educational Qualification:- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.

Exam Center
- Candidates may select five (05) cities in order of their preference for the preliminary examination. The cities where the main examination will be held are Delhi/NCR(Noida), Kolkata, Guwahati, Patna, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Candidates may select two (02) cities in order of their preference.

- For UR/OBC–NCL(NCL)/EWS: Rs 1200/-
- For Women/ SC/ST/Ex– Servicemen/ PwBD: Rs 500/-
