SSUHS Guwahati Recruitment 2020:- Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, Assam invites application from experienced eligible candidates for the posts of Registrar, Registrar (Academic), Controller of Examinations and Finance & Accounts Officer.
The appointment to the post will be made for a period of 5 (five) years or up to the age of 65 (sixty live) years, whichever is earlier.
1. Post Name:- Registrar
- No of posts:- 1 (UR)
- Age limit:- 45 – 62 years as on 01.01.2020.
- Pay Scale:- Pay and of Rs. 1,44,200/- to Rs. 2,18,200/- plus other allowances as admissible as per rules (Academic level-14).
- Essential Qualification:-
i) A Post Graduate degree from a recognized University.
ii) At least 3 years experience as Professor of Modern Medicine (Allopathy).
iii) Five research papers published in indexed journals as the first or corresponding author, out of which three papers should have been published in the last five years.
iv) Administrative experience as Head of Unit/ Head of Department/ other.
V) Functional computer literacy.
2. Post Name:- Controller of Examinations
- No of posts:- 1 (UR)
- Age limit:- 45 – 62 years as on 01.01.2020.
- Pay Scale:- Pay and of Rs. 1,44,200/- to Rs. 2,18,200/- plus other allowances as admissible as per rules (Academic level-14).
- Essential Qualification:-
i) A Post Graduate degree from a recognized University.
ii) At least 3 years experience as Professor of Modern Medicine (Allopathy).
iii) Three research papers published in indexed journals as the first or corresponding author, published in the last five years.
iv) Functional computer literacy - Desirable:-
i) Administrative experience as Head of Unit/ Head of Department/ other.
ii) Experience in the Examination System.
iii) Experience of confidential work.
3. Post Name:- Registrar (Academic)
- No of posts:- 1 (UR)Age limit:- 45 – 62 years as on 01.01.2020.
- Pay Scale:- Pay and of Rs. 1,44,200/- to Rs. 2,18,200/- plus other allowances as admissible as per rules (Academic level-14).
- Essential Qualification:-
i) Post Graduate degree from a recognized University.
ii) At least 3 years experience as Professor of any Faculty of Health Sciences.
iii) A Ph.D. degree from recognized University.
iv) Five research papers published in indexed journals as the first or corresponding author, out of which three papers should have been published in the last five years
v) Functional computer literacy. - Desirable:-
i) Administrative experience as Head of Unit/ Head of Department/other establishments
ii) Experience in Academic administration.
4. Post Name:- Finance & Accounts Officer (FAO)
- No of posts:- 1 (UR)Age limit:- 45 – 59 years as on 01.01.2020.
- Pay Scale:- Pay and of Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- plus GP Rs. 12,700/- and other allowances as admissible as per rules.
- Essential Qualification:-
(i) Master degree in Commerce with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade or CA/MBA in Finance, with 5 years of work experience in Accounts in a reputed organization,
OR
Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor and above, with experience in Educational Administration
OR
At least five years experience as Assistant Registrar (Finance and Accounts) or in Accounts/ Finance/ Audit Branch in University/ Higher Education Institution or in an equivalent position in Central Govt/ State Govt./ Public Sector Undertaking/ University/ College/ Institution.
(ii) Functional computer literacy including computer knowledge in Accounting Software (Tally), MS Office, PowerPoint, Page Maker, etc.
(iii) Knowledge of Govt. Rules/ Accounting/ Auditing/ Budgeting/ Store Accounting etc, and Regulations of State Universities relating to Accounts/ Audit, Service Conditions, and related financial matters including GST/TDS return filing, etc.
