Balawan College Recruitment 2020:– Balawan College, Umsning, Meghalaya invites application from eligible candidates having UGC qualifications for the posts of Assistant Professor in its various departments. The last date for submission of application is 21st February 2020.

• Subjects:- English, Khasi, Education, Political Science, Economics, History and Environmental Studies.
• Age limit:- As per UGC norms.
• Salary:- As per UGC norms.
• Educational Qualification:- As per UGC norms.
  (i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University.
  (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or Ph.D. Degree (under the New Regulations). Candidates having both NET and Ph.D. shall be preferred.
