BRDC Shillong Recruitment 2019:- Bio-Resources Development Centre (BRDC), Shillong, an autonomous Institution of the Government of Meghalaya for promotion of meaningful Conservation & Sustainable utilization of BioResources of the State, invites application in the prescribed format from eligible candidates who are citizens of India for consideration of appointment to the Junior Scientist Post on contractual basis.
Post Name:- Junior Scientist
- No of posts:- 1 (One)
- Age limit:- The candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 27 years of age as on 1.10.2019. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5(five) years for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, OBC, and PWD candidates.
- Salary:- Rs. 49,000/- plus D.A as applicable to State Government Employees and other admissible allowances.
- Educational Qualification:- Masters Degree or equivalent in Botany/ Bio- Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Botany/ Microbiology.
- Experience:- Minimum experience of 5 Years in Research & Development (R&D) work in Meghalaya with Research Publications in reputed national/international journals. (Preference will be given to those candidates with Research Experience of 7 years and above).
Job Requirement
To provide assistance in activities undertaken under the Conservation/ Micropropagation/ Innovation Sector of the Centre and any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time with a willingness to work in rural areas.
